Comments - Traditionally styled Rioja Reserva. Balsamic aromatics, complemented by undertones of red berries and earthiness.
Notes of licorice and spice emerge on the palate.
Sweet plum, cigar tobacco and Spanish cedar on the nose. Medium-bodied with fine tannins and a polished, caressing finish. Attractive chocolate and walnut flavors, too. Drink now.
The villages of San Vicente and Ábalos supply the grapes for this stylish, aromatic, sweetly oaked Tempranillo, aged in mixed French and American oak barrels. Freshness and acidity are a feature of the bodega's wines, even in hotter Mediterranean years such as 2015. 2021-25
